Prop47-CBO-Social Model Recovery System (SMRS)

Prop 47 Grant

Under our Prop 47 grant, we have contracted with Social Model Recovery System to provide addiction counseling and education. The SMRS program uses real-word experience and evidence-based therapies to guide the individual towards a lasting process of change. Services provided under our Prop 47 grant include the evidence-based intervention Seeking Safety, trauma-informed counseling, small group therapy, relapse prevention, withdrawal management, and court services (drug testing, reports, etc.). Drug and alcohol classes provided by the Social Model Recovery System program meet the requirements of the juvenile court. Social Model Recovery System, and its programs are licensed by the State of California’s Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and nationally accredited by The Joint Commission.
